I read this book because I was diagnosed with ADHD, and I hope it will help me better understand my diagnosis. I thought that the book brought out some
very great points. I really like how it talks about structure improving the regulation of ADHD symptoms. This book was written in 1995, so they used the term Attention Deficit Disorder instead of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
I’m actually curious about the terminology change and plan to research that. |

This book is about a man who has cancer. This man wanted to leave something for his wife and kids after his death. He was asked to do a lecture at his graduate school, and decided to take up the mantle.
I really do enjoy how this author talked about his life experiences up to the lecture. It isn't just the lecture. He provides his world-view and upbringing, key moments from his life, lessons learned, and general advice
to be a functional human in this world. I also enjoyed how this book had short chapters, which made me finish it quicker than usual. I decided to read this on my kindle with .epub. I read this book
before and after bed which I also enjoyed. I look forward to reading more on my kindle. |
