This is a "Pop Tarts Frosted Strawberry" packaging recreation. So, I heard of 'copywork', which is basically rewriting existing work to hone in your writing skills, but I decided could use this concept to improve my graphic design skills. I made sure that I decided to only use sources outside of existing 'Pop Tart' packaging. For example, the text is from BeFunky, a Graphic Design Tool, the strawberry is a stock image from Google, and the Pop Tart is found from a Youtube review. | 10/29/2024 |

Good Morning! Today I was making my coffee, and I decided to kill the OAT-LY! in our fridge. My sister came up for the half maration last month, and she is a OAT-LY! addict. Personally, I am a fan of the Chobani Pumpkin Spice creamer. My mother put me on to that. Anyways, I decided to make this my re-creation for the day. I once again used BeFunky and again, attempted to match the font by eye (even though they are definitely different fonts from the original. The first thing I did this morning besides reading and showering (and eating breakfast of course) was re-creating this packaging. Over the past few months, I have been saving product packaging. I just find them to bee very interesting pieces of art. This will be my last time using BeFunky as it is not the standard in the industry. In the future, I will be using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. JET-ALERT is a caffeine pill supplement. I used them for a while, but now I use them very occasionally. For this project, the only outside source I used was a striped red and white image which I was able to layer over the oval shape which covers the top half of the logo. Happy Halloween! | 10/31/2024 |
